Veggie Corn Sandwich!

Today I have tried veggie corn sandwich. This is a healthy breakfast, if you want to add this in your diet, you can use brown bread instead of white bread and olive oil for shallow fry. So let’s proceed to the recipe.

INGREDIENTS


Bread: white/brown
Onion: 1 medium sized (finely chopped)
Tomato: 1 big sized (finely chopped)
Capsicum: 1 (finely chopped)
Green chillies: 2 (finely chopped)
Cabbage: 1/4 bowl (finely chopped)
Corn kernels: 1/2 bowl
Cheese: 1/2 bowl (grated)
Chaat masala powder: 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Salt: according to the taste
Chopped coriander leaves: 2 tablespoons
Chopped mint leaves: 1 tablespoon
Butter: 1/2 bowl
Oil: for shallow fry

RECIPE

  • Take a large bowl and take all the chopped veggies in the bowl according to the ingredients.
  • Add grated cheese, corn kernels, chaat masala powder, red chilli powder, salt, chopped coriander leaves, and chopped mint leaves. Mix them well and keep aside.
  • Take a bread slice, brush butter on one side of bread, put 2 teaspoons prepared veggies mixture on bread slice, and spread well. Cover it with another bread slice (brushed with butter).
  • In parallel, put a non stick pan on medium flame and grease it with cooking oil or olive oil and put the stuffed bread on it.
  • After some time flip this to another side and cook this with oil.
  • When sandwich is cooked, transfer this to a plate and repeat this process with all the bread slices.
  • Sandwich is ready!
  • Serve this with chutney or sauce.
