Paneer (cottage cheese) Burji!

Hello, everyone

Today I have tried paneer (cottage cheese) burji. This is a popular Indian breakfast. Paneer burji is full of nutrition and easy to prepare dish. So let’s proceed to the recipe.

INGREDIENTES

Paneer (cottage cheese): 200 grams (crumbled)
Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Mustard seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
Onion: 1 medium sized ( finely chopped)
Tomato: 1 small sized (finely chopped)
Green chillies: 2 (chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt: according to taste
Chopped coriander leaves: 1 tablespoon

RECIPE

  • Put a pan on medium flame and heat olive oil. Now put mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add chopped green chillies and saute them. Now add chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste according to the ingredients and fry them till the raw aroma goes away.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and saute well. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, and mix well.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of water and cook till it starts releasing the oil from sides.
  • Add crumbled paneer (cottage cheese) and stir and cook for 1-2 minutes. Do not over cook it.
  • Now sprinkle salt according to your taste and mix well.
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Paneer burji is ready!
  • You can eat it with roti, paratha, or bread.
