This time around, I gave mushrooms and sweet corn, a spin and tried a new recipe. If you are a mushroom and sweet corn lover then I am sure you are going to enjoy this blog post. So.. here we go:
Fresh white button mushrooms: 10-12
Sweet corn: 1 bowl
Oil: 4 teaspoon
Green chilies: 4-5 (half parted)
Chopped garlic: 1 teaspoon
Chopped Ginger: 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Soya sauce: 1 teaspoon
Green chili sauce: 1 teaspoon
Tomato sauce: 3 teaspoon
White vinegar: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Cornflour: 2 teaspoon
White flour(maida): 3 teaspoon
Salt: According to taste
Red chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Water: 1/4 cup
And for garnishing, use:
Grated cheddar cheese
Chopped coriander leaves
First, make sure that you wash mushrooms well and then, cut it into medium sized pieces. In parallel, make a mixture of soya sauce, corn flour, and all-purpose flour. Set the burner flames to a medium setting and put a pan on top of the burner. According to the quantity of the ingredients, put an appropriate amount of oil in the pan.
Now, add green chilies, ginger garlic paste, chopped ginger and garlic in the oil and saute them well. Add mushroom pieces, sweet corn, and black pepper in the mixture and keep frying it till the mixture turns aromatic.
Now add green chili sauce, tomato sauce, white vinegar, and red chili powder on top and cook it well. Add the mixture of soya sauce, corn flour, and all-purpose flour. After mixing it you will see that all the mixture will turn thick, now add water and salt, stir for some time, and cover it for 5 minutes on simmer flame. After 5 minutes, mix some chopped coriander.
Voila! The dish is ready. Serve on a plate and garnish it with grated cheddar cheese.
